Fruit of the Spirit Post Cards

I came up with the design for my “Fruit of the Spirit” series after seeing people on social media and friends put post cards on their walls as decoration. This was featured in the 55th Juried Student Art Show at USI where I received the "Design Award" out of over 200 other submitted works. In this design, inspired by the trend of making objects fit into a fixed shape by stretching and shrinking them. The fruit of the spirit in the Bible is an analogy to describe the positive changes that occur in a Christian’s life after following Jesus and how those changes can be seen in their life. I took it literally and assinged each “fruit” in the Bible to a literal fruit. I wanted it to be colorful and bright, but also limited myself to 3 colors and 3 shapes per design.
